The two of them were eating when they heard movement outside the dining room. Ji Leyu soon rushed in.

“Dad, you are back.” He happily ran all the way to Lin Luoqing, his tone light and cheerful like a child’s. “I heard from Uncle Xiao Li. Dad, you won the award, right? You are awesome!”

Lin Luoqing touched his head with a smile. Then he saw Lin Fei and Xiao Li walk in.

Xiao Li sent the children back safely and congratulated Lin Luoqing. Then he left by himself without disturbing the family of four.

Lin Fei looked at Lin Luoqing with a glimmer of light in his eyes, but he didn’t say anything.

Lin Luoqing didn’t need him to say anything. He smiled and beckoned for Lin Fei to come over, asking him and Ji Leyu if they wanted to eat anything else.

Lin Fei shook his head while Ji Leyu wanted to eat shredded sweet potatoes.

Lin Luoqing bent down, picked him up and kissed him on the face.
