VCRMM: Chapter 277

Qiuqiu and Aba hugged each other and looked up at the ‘fireworks’ above their heads in shock. Even the usually calm Aba was shocked speechless.

The explosion of the shuttle caused parts to scatter everywhere. They were sitting not far away. Before they could react, a huge iron plate had already fallen from the sky in their direction.

“Aba!”

Qiuqiu shouted urgently.

They didn’t have time to escape before they were blown away by the blast created by the iron plate. The two little cat men hugged each other tightly as they rose and fell in the air.

All types of flying sand and rocks hit them, almost making them faint in pain.

Just when Aba thought it was over this time, a ray of light flew over from a distance, wrapped them up and quickly left.

The only ones left at the scene were the lizardmen running away and screaming…

“I told you to find a safe place to hide. You can’t even do that?”

Deep in the desert, Late Night Poisoning released the two little cat men. He transformed into human form again, quickly put them in a box and poured two bottles of health potion on them.

The two fragile little lives only had a layer of health left.

[Oh, poor cats. Late Night Poisoning, please be gentle! They are dying!]

[The explosion of the shuttle just now was really cool!]

[Ahhhh, I also want to go to Bewatt Star to blow up spaceships and earn points! Of course, I want to raise a cat man.]

[Upstairs, you are too crazy. You actually want to keep a cat person as a pet. Please take me with you.]

“Hey hey hey, that is enough. They are intelligent beings. You still want to treat them as pets?”

Late Night Poisoning couldn’t help saying.

[They don’t look very smart.]

[We are just protecting endangered animals!]

[Yes, the native people are so miserable. We must help them improve their lives and take back Bewatt Star!]

Late Night Poisoning rolled his eyes. If the players didn’t return to the Roland Empire, they could only use the method of dying to return to the city. There was no way to carry living objects with them or it was estimated that some people really wanted to bring back the cat people to be pets.

He didn’t care about that and just looked down at the two little cat people in front of him. Their health bars were rising rapidly. Just by looking at them, it was obvious that they were very fragile.

Ever since he met these two little cat people, his heath medicine was almost used up. Still, Late Night Poisoning didn’t feel bad at all. After all…

After blowing up a shuttle, his battlefield score had surpassed 1,000! The experience points he gained allowed him to level up once directly to level 35.

He was able to gain three levels in such a short period of time. This was so cool. In response, the barrage was filled with envious and jealous players.

Late Night Poisoning saw that the two little cats were still unconscious, so he ignored them and took out a large box from the system backpack. He took out the pots and pans inside.

He saw the scorching sun in the sky, so he went to the system mall and bought a parasol. He propped it up and stuck it in the sand.

These things were sold very cheaply in the system mall. Things that cost 100 yuan in reality could be bought for one or two yuan, and the feeling of enjoying them was the same.

Was Starry Sky Age so conscientious?

Even an economical player like Late Night Poisoning, who didn’t like to recharge in games, couldn’t help becoming addicted, let alone players who weren’t short of money.

Soon, Qiuqiu and Aba woke up.

There was no longer direct, scorching sunlight above their heads. Something blocked the light, bringing a hint of shade.

Cats were very afraid of heat, at least, their type was.

Therefore, they didn’t actually live in the desert originally. They had to hide in this harsh environment in order to avoid the lizardmen.

Qiuqiu and Aba hadn’t felt so cool in a long time.

At this time, an enticing fragrance wafted over. Qiuqiu and Aba looked at each other before carefully climbing up. They put their little hands on the edge of the box, and stood on tiptoes to look around curiously.

They saw that the weird man was holding a strange black thing in his hand. One end was held in his hand while the other end was flat, making a crackling sound on the fire.

In the other hand of the weirdo, he was holding a long, black iron object. He was making some crackling noises while doing something unknown. Next to him, there was a whole box of…

“Lizard eggs!”

Qiuqiu couldn’t help blurting out when he saw the eggs.

Late Night Poisoning heard this and turned around to look at them. He smiled and said, “You are awake. Wait a moment. You will have food soon.”

Then he continued frying the lizard eggs.

What he was holding in his hands was naturally the frying pan and spatula he bought in the system mall, as well as a small, portable gas stove.

A system interface would pop up when it was in use.

He needed to buy gas to turn it on, but gas was very cheap. He just needed to spend 10 diamond coins to use it many times.

It had to be said that this gas stove was a must-have for home and travel. The key was that it could be stored in the system backpack, and it didn’t take up any space at all! It was one of his favorite items for late night cooking.

He would often cook for NPCs when doing the daily missions. There was no NPC who didn’t give him a favorable impression after eating the food he cooked.

Late Night Poisoning turned over the fried eggs in the pan. He felt they were almost done, so he turned off the heat and placed them on a plate.

Qiuqiu and Aba looked at the steaming scallion fried egg. It was obvious that they didn’t like heat, but they couldn’t help gulping when they smelled the aroma.

“What is this?” Qiuqiu crawled out of a box onto the table.

Naturally, this table was taken out by Late Night Poisoning.

At this moment, he showed the charm of a life player to the fullest and caused many people in the barrage to sigh. ‘It turns out that the game can be played like this!’

“Fried lizard eggs with chopped green onions. Isn’t it delicious?”

Late Night Poisoning took out a small plate and put some food on it. Then he took out a bottle of iced cola, poured it into a small teacup and placed it in front of the little cat men.

Qiuqiu glanced at the black bubbling liquid and cast a cautious glance at Late Night Poisoning.

After seeing him pick up the Coke, drink it directly and let out a comfortable sigh, Qiuqiu couldn’t help bending down, leaning over the edge of the teacup and licking it.

Just after tasting a little bit, Aba pulled him back and made him sit on the ground.

Qiuqiu licked his lips with satisfaction and said to his friend, “This is so delicious! It is cool and sweet! It is so comfortable to drink!”

Late Night Poisoning snorted, put down the Coke, and continued to make his lizard egg dish.

He changed to the soup pot and prepared to cook some egg drop soup.

The other stove wasn’t idle either. He placed a steamer on it. After adjusting the ratio of egg liquid and water, he steamed the lizard egg custard.

He cooked it according to the method for eggs but he didn’t know what it would taste like in the end.

Aba had tightly furrowed brows as he watched Qiuqiu stand up again, lean over the edge of the teacup and drink the dark liquid.

However, he did feel a hint of coolness when standing next to the liquid.

The height of the teacup reached their lower abdomen and was even bigger than a bathtub for them with their small bodies. The iced Coke in it brought them enough coolness.

After drinking the Coke, Qiuqiu moved closer to the small plate again. He looked at the steaming scallion egg cautiously and couldn’t help stretching out his paw to scratch it lightly.

Then the cat man got his paw burned.

He shook his paws and jumped on the spot in pain until he felt better while holding the teacup filled with Coke.

Late Night Poisoning had already pointed the live broadcast camera at them. The audience couldn’t help laughing when they saw this scene. Another large number of players were successfully captured by the mini beastmen.

His paw was burned but Qiuqiu was able to overcome the danger and successfully ate the scallion egg.

“Aba, this is delicious! I didn’t know lizard eggs could be so delicious!”

He held the fried egg in his hands and started to eat it noisily. He ate so deliciously that Aba couldn’t help sitting beside him and eating the hill-like fried eggs with him.

Lizard eggs were very nutritious and went well with chopped green onions. They tasted fragrant, smooth, salty and full of fresh flavor.

Even someone as calm as Aba couldn’t stop eating.

They were still young and had a big appetite. In addition, it was difficult to find food in the desert so there weren’t many opportunities to have a full meal like this.

Thanks to the two little cat men’s eating show, Late Night Poisoning’s live broadcast room was truly worthy of its name.

[I’m hungry.]

[The kids are eating so deliciously. I want to eat too.]

[Takeout is on the way! I also ordered a whitebait egg custard!]

[Excellent! I will have seaweed egg drop soup for lunch today.]

For a while, everyone in the barrage was discussing food. The players who wanted to discuss the plot were unable to get started.

This was probably…

Showing the characteristics of the live broadcast room of a life player!

Finally, Late Night Poisoning prepared a feast of eggs, fully evaluated the taste of lizard eggs, and made a recommendation to the players.

“Lizard eggs are also very nutritious!”

Late Night Poisoning’s conclusion was based on facts, because—

After eating a boiled lizard egg, he actually gained a buff of +10% physical strength recovery speed.

Then he excitedly tried other lizard egg dishes and found that the lizard egg custard was the most valuable. It could increase physical strength recovery by 50% and give 1 minute of energy. This meant doubling physical strength.

You know, a warrior consumed physical strength when using skills.

Physical strength was equivalent to the mana of a warrior. It just so happened that Late Night Poisoning was a warrior.

“Oh, if I knew this, I wouldn’t have blown up the shuttle!” Late Night Poisoning sighed and regretted it. There were hundreds of thousands of lizard eggs!

In the barrage, the players also denounced him. Tempted by him, a large number of foodie players were on their way to Bewatt Star.

Lizard eggs might become a specialty delicacy of Bewatt Star and one of the must-have items for players.

Regarding this point, Xu Sili didn’t know whether to laugh or cry after hearing the feedback from Xiao Wu.

He was quite interested in the lizard eggs, but he had other things to do right now. It was because Xiao Wu had already found a clue to the scientist couple.

Add the fact that these are fertilized eggs, possibly with embryos. The ones we’re used to are unfertilized, and so have no chicken embryos.

Yeah I’m a bit disturbed too. I guess the only thing protecting, say, the mermaids from become sashimi is the faction allance??? Though, I’m sure that this all being just a “game” helps with that discomfort for the players….
However, if it’s regarding the fact that eggs are probably fertilized (sapient beings notwithstanding), then such a food like balut in the Philippines isn’t uncommon throughout SE Asia. Also in some parts of China–so I’m sure that “foodies” like this character have eaten them before.
