Su Mo stared blankly at the system notification. He couldn’t help standing there in a daze.
He understood that according to the game’s design, he and Chi Yu would eventually be able to unlock more interactive actions as long as they persisted, but he felt increasingly uncertain as time passed.
It was a sense of uncertainty that seemed endless, day after day, gradually eroding his confidence.
He had been trying to convince himself and comfort Chi Yu lately.
Just half a year later, they should be able to unlock new moves on their second anniversary. However, only he knew that he had no confidence at all when he said these words.
Unexpectedly, six months after unlocking the kissing feature, he had unlocked a new interactive action!
It took a year of dating before they could kiss and a year and a half before they could touch each other. This should be a terrible thing, but Su Mo only felt gratitude right now.
It was heartbreaking to think about.
After carefully reading it twice and realizing that he hadn’t misread, Su Mo came to his senses and rushed out of the room, ready to share the good news with Chi Yu.
Chi Yu’s bedroom was right next to his and the door was ajar.
Su Mo stopped at the door, took a deep breath and knocked.
He knocked twice but there was no response.
Su Mo carefully opened the door and saw Chi Yu’s slender figure sitting cross-legged on the bed, meditating and cultivating.
Chi Yu had awakened his elemental talent half a year ago and became an earth elementalist. However, his talent was only average or it wouldn’t have taken him so long to awaken, and his cultivation speed was relatively slow.
He was only just past the half star level now, and was working hard to become a one star elementalist.
Seeing that he was cultivating, Su Mo didn’t interrupt him.
The level of an elementalist was related to their lifespan. He naturally hoped for Chi Yu to become a high level elementalist to possess the ability to protect himself and a long lifespan.
He quietly took out materials and tools from his backpack and drew an earth element gathering magic circle on the ground. After a star core was embedded, the magic circle quietly started to operate, attracting earth elements to gather in Chi Yu’s room.
In his meditative state, Chi Yu could clearly feel that the tiny pale yellow dots around him had suddenly increased in number. It became relatively easier for him to attract them into his body.
A thought struck Chi Yu and he snapped out of his meditative state. He opened his eyes and met a pair of dark eyes gazing at him with tenderness.
“Ah Mo?”
Chi Yu blinked, looked down and saw the magic circle drawn on the ground. “This is…”
Su Mo smiled, greeted him and said, “I recently developed an earth element gathering magic circle.”
As the number one magic circle master in the game, it must be said that Su Mo’s talent in magic circles far surpassed that of architecture.
This magic circle was improved by him after consulting with Su Lin’s teacher, specifically to facilitate Chi Yu’s cultivation. The elemental concentration was increased by two times, so the cultivation speed would naturally also increase.
“Right now, I can only increase the elemental concentration by two times. There is still a lot of room for improvement.” Su Mo urged, “You should continue cultivating. Don’t waste any time.”
Chi Yu was a bit moved, but just as Su Mo said, he couldn’t waste such a good environment.
Therefore, he closed his eyes again and started to meditate, cultivating earnestly.
Su Mo watched from the side, observing the operation of the magic circle and preparing to make further improvements.
After he successfully drew the magic circle, he also received a reward from the system. However, it wasn’t an invention reward but the reproduction of a lost ancient magic circle, contributing to the prosperity of Roland’s civilization.
About an hour later, Chi Yu ended the meditation again and slowly opened his eyes.
His forehead was covered in sweat. His thin shirt was soaked and he was breathing heavily.
For NPCs, meditation was a very energy-consuming activity, especially since Chi Yu was currently in the early stages and needed to absorb earth elements to expand his spiritual sea. Every step was difficult.
Chi Yu was tired but his red eyes shone with a bright and dazzling light.
Su Mo saw his expression and couldn’t help asking, “How is it?”
“Very good,” Chi Yu said excitedly. “I feel like I’m about to break through, but I probably can’t reach one star yet.”
Su Mo nodded and said with a smile, “Progress is a good thing. We should celebrate!”
Chi Yu had been stuck at half a star, the bottleneck of level 5, for a long time. Now that he was finally about to break through, Su Mo was naturally happy for him.
“Yes!”
Chi Yu smiled, his eyes curved as he looked at the still-operating magic circle on the ground. He said, “Thank you, Ah Mo.”
“Let’s not say things like that between us.”
Su Mo took out a bag of star cores from his backpack and placed it on the table next to him.
“Let this magic circle keep running to maintain a high concentration of earth elements in the room. It will benefit you even when you aren’t cultivating.”
Chi Yu nodded. He did feel very comfortable. The feeling of being surrounded by earth elements at all times allowed him to get closer to the element and strengthen his communication with the earth element.
“Okay, I will.”
He gazed at Su Mo’s handsome face. Then he suddenly lowered his head and started to unbutton his clothes.
One… two…
From Su Mo’s perspective, he first saw an extension of the other person’s fair neck, then his delicate and beautiful collarbone and…
It was a vast expanse of holy light, white as a blanket.
The light completely obscured him, making it impossible to see anything.
Su Mo sighed and asked, “Do you want to take a shower?”
After every meditation session, Chi Yu would be drenched in sweat and need to change his clothes. He gradually developed the habit of taking a shower in the morning.
“Yes.” Chi Yu nodded.
“Then I’ll get you some clothes.”
Su Mo went to the wardrobe and carefully picked out a casual outfit for Chi Yu. By the time he turned around, Chi Yu had already stood up.
Soft pajama bottoms and small pieces of clothing fell to the ground and were stepped on by the young man’s fair feet.
He was bathed in a soft white light, looking holy and captivating. His exact features were obscured, but this made him seem more alluring.
Su Mo couldn’t help moving closer.
Chi Yu turned to look at him and saw the infatuated look in the other person’s eyes. He couldn’t help smiling. He gently pinched Su Mo’s chin with his fingers and kissed Su Mo on the lips.
“Why don’t you go back for a while first?”
After finishing his drink, he gently pressed his forehead against Su Mo’s and said in a hoarse voice.
Su Mo’s dark eyes showed doubt. In the past six months, Chi Yu often asked him to go back to his own world, which meant logging off.
At first, he thought he was just being given time to go back and resolve his problems. But sometimes, he didn’t really want to go back.
His doubts deepened as the number of times increased. Su Mo couldn’t help wondering if Chi Yu no longer liked him and didn’t want to see him. However, Chi Yu’s affection for him hadn’t diminished at all.
Su Mo looked at Chi Yu, opened his eyes and eventually nodded when the young man looked up at him.
“Okay, sure.”
Su Mo hesitated for a moment but still obediently chose to exit the game.
As he withdrew, his body froze in place and his eyes became unfocused. He clearly lost consciousness.
Chi Yu watched his change and raised a hand to gently stroke his cheek. He tiptoed slightly, leaned closer and kissed Su Mo’s lips. Then… he pulled Su Mo’s hand over.
In reality, Su Mo opened his eyes inside the game cabin. He looked at the transparent door of the game cabin and felt increasingly uneasy.
Many thoughts flashed through his mind and he even started to suspect that Chi Yu was hiding something from him.
Su Mo quickly shook his head. How could he think of his Xiao Yu like this? No matter what, he shouldn’t doubt their relationship.
However, he looked around the game cabin for a while and couldn’t help his thoughts running wild.
He gritted his teeth and finally chose to enter the game again.
After the familiar darkness passed, Su Mo opened his eyes but the scene that greeted him left him stunned.
Chi Yu stood before him, face flushed, beautiful eyes closed and the corners of his eyes tinged a faint red. His mouth was slightly open and he was breathing heavily and ambiguously. The scene was seductive and alluring.
Immediately afterwards, Su Mo sensed something else.
His left hand was pressed against Chi Yu’s chest while his other hand was also guided and placed on a certain spot, moving gently.
The sudden sensory experience shocked Su Mo’s brain.
He never imagined such a thing would happen, much less that Chi Yu would use his body like this while he was offline.
Chi Yu didn’t notice that Su Mo had returned. In the past six months, he learned how to use these few minutes to satisfy and please himself.
He gradually became unsteady on his feet.
Thus, Chi Yu turned around and leaned into Su Mo’s arms, letting the other person’s arms encircle him.
He tilted his head back, his lips and cheeks gently and tenderly rubbing against Su Mo’s neck. His hot breath sprayed onto his skin, as unrestrained as ever.
Then Chi Yu slowly opened his eyes, a trace of confusion appearing in his hazy gaze.
The time should’ve already passed.
Suddenly, his eyes widened and a hint of panic appeared on his face flushed with passion.
He felt it. The hands that always needed him to press down and guide them suddenly moved on their own.
A warm, slightly rough hand caressed his chest.
A shiver ran through Chi Yu’s entire body. It was an experience he never had before, causing him to let out a soft, gentle groan.
The sound seemed to provoke the man behind him. Su Mo lowered his head, opened his mouth and sucked on Chi Yu’s earlobe forcefully.
Chi Yu felt his heart pounding faster than ever before. He had already understood something, but instead of feeling panicked or ashamed, he found that these emotions had been replaced by the joy of finally receiving a response.
“Ah Mo…”
He called out to Su Mo softly.
Su Mo released his earlobe and chuckled softly. The chuckle was hoarse and deep, ringing in Chi Yu’s ear and striking his eardrum, making the blush on his face deepen.
“I didn’t expect you to…”
Su Mo didn’t finish his sentence but the implication was clear. “Has it been like this every time for the past six months?”
Chi Yu didn’t really want to answer the question, but Su Mo grabbed him and used a bit of force to make him unable to resist.
He bit his lower lip lightly and gave a soft hum.
Su Mo leaned close to his ear and chuckled again. He felt that his Xiao Yu was both smart and cute, but at the same time, he felt heartbroken for Chi Yu.
If it wasn’t for being with him, why would Chi Yu have to go through all of this? He could have a simpler happiness, but instead had to endure trials with him.
Su Mo thought of this and suppressed his smile.
