FV: Chapter 33 Part 1

Lin Luoqing, “???”

“Are you really okay?”

“I’m fine,” Ji Yuxiao said.

In any case, it was the wedding night. He would let his poor wife go and get some sleep.

“Oh.” Lin Luoqing responded.

He looked at the dark night and felt the temperature of the quilt. After a long time, he quietly looked at Ji Yuxiao.

“So we are just going to spend our wedding night like this?”

Ji Yuxiao, “……”

Lin Luoqing was a bit dissatisfied. “There is no change from before. Can this be considered a new marriage?”

‘…What other changes do you want? Do you really think we are marrying for love? Wake up!’

Lin Luoqing kicked the quilt in a depressed manner.

Ji Yuxiao felt his movement and finally turned around helplessly to take Lin Luoqing into his arms.

“This should be okay now.”

Lin Luoqing, “!!!”

Lin Luoqing felt his face becoming hot immediately.

He might’ve slept with Ji Yuxiao for a few nights but it was all his subconscious behavior after falling asleep at night. Every morning when they woke up together, he would leave immediately.

Now he was caught off guard before falling asleep and hugged in Ji Yuxiao’s arms. Lin Luoqing only felt that his heart was restless.

He felt the temperature in Ji Yuxiao’s arms and said to him, “You really can’t wait this time?”

Ji Yuxiao laughed, his voice low and full of magnetism. “I can’t wait.”

Lin Luoqing was happy. He reached out to hug the other person. Then he remembered something and withdrew his hand. He instead touched Ji Yuxiao’s waist and abdomen.

Ji Yuxiao, “???”

He wondered, “What are you doing?”

“Didn’t you ask me before if my male god’s waist and abdomen are good to hold? I am touching and feeling it.”

Ji Yuxiao, “……”

Ji Yuxiao grabbed his restless left hand.” Sleep. It is late at night.”

It would be bad if he caught fire.

Lin Luoqing’s hand was grabbed so he had to give up. He held Ji Yuxiao’s hand back, leaned against this person’s arms, chose a comfortable position and closed his eyes.

Soon, Ji Yuxiao heard his even breathing.

Ji Yuxiao lowered his head and carefully admired the person in his arms for a while in the darkness of the night. Then he slowly closed his eyes.

It was late at night. He still had another night to pass and could only hope that the sky would light up soon.

Ji Yuxiao thought so. He didn’t know when but he gradually lost consciousness and fell into a dream.

There were two breathing sounds in the room, intertwined with each other, vague and ambiguous.

Ji Yuxiao was shocked when he woke up the next morning.

Lin Luoqing turned off the alarm clock, yawned lazily and told him, “I will send Xiao Yu and Fei Fei to school. You can continue to sleep for a while.”

Ji Yuxiao stared at him for a long time before whispering, “Okay.”

The one who picked up Ji Leyu was Luo Jia, a driver specially invited by Ji Yuxiao.

Luo Jia wasn’t a driver before and even now, a driver was only one of his part-time jobs. In other words, Ji Yuxiao asked him and he gave Ji Yuxiao face. This was why he came to drive for Ji Leyu.

“Hello, Uncle Luo.” Ji Leyu greeted the person politely and didn’t forget to give an introduction. “This is Uncle Lin, my father’s marriage partner. This is Lin Fei, my brother.”

Last night, Luo Jia had already received a call from Ji Yuxiao saying that Lin Luoqing would send Ji Leyu and Lin Fei to school together in the future.

Therefore, he had already asked about Lin Luoqing’s identity in last night’s call.

He didn’t know why Ji Yuxiao got married so quickly and to a person he had never met, but judging from what Ji Yuxiao had done for a while, there must be an ulterior motive.

However, Lin Luoqing was also an adult and must have his own ideas when marrying Ji Yuxiao. There was no need to worry about him.

Luo Jia just smiled and introduced himself. “I am Luo Jia, Xiao Yu’s driver.”

Lin Luoqing examined the other person. He didn’t look like a driver. Luo Jia was tall and had healthy wheat-colored skin. He might be smiling but it was difficult to hide the coldness of his body. He wore a pair of camouflage pants and his pant legs were tucked into boots.

He introduced himself to Lin Luoqing and helped open the door.

Lin Luoqing said politely, “Thank you.”’

“You’re welcome.” After saying this, Luo Jia went around to the front of the car and got into the car.

Ji Yuxiao watched them get into the car and leave from the study on the second floor. Then he returned to the bedroom and laid down.

Did he fall asleep last night?

He didn’t watch Lin Luoqing’s performance but he fell asleep?

Ji Yuxiao found it really strange. He wanted to test to see if he was now well. Could he fall asleep even without Lin Luoqing performing in front of him?

Ji Yuxiao lay down for a long time with his eyes closed. The minute hand went around an entire round but he still didn’t feel any sleepiness.

Did he get enough sleep last night? Ji Yuxiao thought about it. Or perhaps he needed Lin Luoqing by his side?

He sat up, recalled last night and decided to try again tonight.

Lin Luoqing finished sending Lin Fei off and Luo Jia took a detour to Ji Leyu’s kindergarten.

Ji Leyu was a bit sleepy. He yawned and couldn’t help tilting his head.

Lin Luoqing saw his childish appearance and loved it in his heart. He reached out and hugged Ji Leyu, coaxing him. “Do you want to sleep for a while? I’ll call you when we arrive.”

Ji Leyu was caught off guard by these words and was a bit startled for a while.

Another voice seemed to echo in his ears. It was soft and gentle with love and affection, as relaxing as the spring breeze.

-Are you still sleepy? Then sleep with your mother for a while and I will call you when we arrive.

Back then, his mother would look down at him with curved eyes, just like Lin Luoqing did now.

Ji Leyu suddenly felt uncomfortable. He leaned on Lin Luoqing and closed his eyes.

Lin Luoqing hugged him and gently patted him a few times, coaxing the child to sleep.

It was only when the car stopped that Lin Luoqing shook the child in his arms and told him, “Wake up, Xiao Yu, we’ve arrived at the kindergarten.”

Ji Leyu opened his eyes and rubbed them. He opened his mouth in a daze and almost said ‘Goodbye, Mother.’ Then he sobered up after seeing the other person’s face.

It wasn’t his mother, it was Uncle Lin.

His mother was no longer there and would never send him to school again.

Ji Leyu’s hand rubbing his eyes paused. Then he quickly continued to rub them.

He raised his hand and waved at Lin Luoqing. “Goodbye, Uncle.”

“Goodbye,” Lin Luoqing replied.

He watched Ji Leyu carry a small school bag into the kindergarten. Then he had Luo Jia drive back.

Ji Leyu entered the class and sat in his seat. A long time passed before he slowly wrote the pinyin for ‘Mother’ on his desk with his fingers.

His expression was dark and there was no emotion in his eyes. He looked at the bright desk as if the pinyin had never existed. Finally, he lay down on the desk and closed his eyes.

He missed his mother; he missed her so much.

By the time Lin Luoqing returned home, Wu Xinyuan had already arrived.

This was a very ordinary-looking man. He seemed around 30 years old. He wasn’t thin or fat, tall or short. At first glance, he looked no different from the white-collar workers on the street.

Ji Yuxiao had already accepted his fate at the moment. Now he saw that Lin Luoqing had returned and beckoned for him to come over.

Lin Luoqing greeted Wu Xinyuan politely and sat down beside Ji Yuxiao.

He asked, “What’s going on?”

“Your contract.” Ji Yuxiao handed him the document in his hand. “I’ve read it for you and there are no problems.”

Lin Luoqing naturally believed him and took the contract, ready to sign it. Then a second before signing, he saw a few lines and read a paragraph specially marked on the contract.

[Note: If Party B is dissatisfied with Party A’s actions, Party B has the right to terminate the contract at any time and won’t assume any responsibility for the breach of contract. If Party A fails to perform the above terms, Party A will pay 300% of the actual loss as a penalty fee to Party B.]

Lin Luoqing, “????”

Lin Luoqing deliberately looked at the column where he had to sign his name. It was right. He was Party B and Xingyi was Party A!

Then this was…

Lin Luoqing touched Ji Yuxiao, pointed to the paragraph of text and gave a reminder, “Are the two sides of Party A and B written in the wrong positions?”

Ji Yuxiao glanced at it and said calmly, “No. You are Party B, right?”

Yes, but wasn’t it a problem that he was Party B?

“So I can terminate the contract at any time without losing money but the other party can’t do that. In addition, if they don’t do what they promised me, I can make them pay a penalty fee? It is 300% of the actual loss?”

Was this still a contract for capitalists?

It was like a special contract for poverty alleviation!

Ji Yuxiao nodded. “That’s right.”

“Did you propose this?”

“Is there a problem?”

Lin Luoqing was a bit embarrassed. “Wouldn’t this be too blatant?”

This was simply writing his bias on the piece of paper!

Whoever saw it would think that he had a love brain and was partial to his marriage partner.

Ji Yuxiao was very calm about this. “So what? It is my company and you are my wife. You are the boss’ partner and it isn’t an underground affair. Being blatant is worthy of your identity.”

Lin Luoqing, “……”

Lin Luoqing felt that his face was a bit hot.

He didn’t say anything else and silently lowered his head to sign his name.

“It is finished.”

“Then take it yourself,” Ji Yuxiao told him.

“…Aren’t you going to give Brother Wu a copy to take back to the company?”

Ji Yuxiao thought for a moment. “Then give it to me.”

He added, “The contract of the boss’ partner should naturally be kept by the boss. This is appropriate.”

Lin Luoqing, “……”

Lin Luoqing felt his face heat up again.

Wu Xinyuan who was sitting on the side: Bark bark bark, bark bark bark.
