FV: Chapter 27 Part 1

Lin Luoqing was dressed in a white shirt and sat in front of a red curtain wall. He stared at the camera in front of him and his eyes curved.

His smile was very gentle and there was a type of quiet tranquility of the years.

The photographer saw it and couldn’t help reminding Ji Yuxiao, “Young Master Ji, you should also smile.”

Ji Yuxiao didn’t like this type of photography that was fixed in a certain place, so he pressed his eyebrows together and tried to make his expression look more natural.

Lin Luoqing turned to look at him and saw Ji Yuxiao frowning. Ji Yuxiao wondered, “What is it?”

“I’m looking at how handsome you are.” Lin Luoqing smiled.

Ji Yuxiao heard this and couldn’t help smiling.

The photographer hurriedly said, “Yes, that’s good. Young Master Ji, keep it up.”

Ji Yuxiao, “……”

The corners of Ji Yuxiao’s mouth started to stiffen again.

Once they had finished taking the marriage registration photos, the photographer brought the camera in front of them and allowed them both to preview the photos that were just taken. Then he asked Ji Yuxiao, “Do you think these are okay? Do I need to shoot them again?”

Ji Yuxiao had only one answer to the question, which was that it was okay and could be used.

However, the marriage photo wasn’t seen by him alone so he turned to Lin Luoqing and asked, “Is it okay? Do you still want to take it?”

Lin Luoqing looked at it carefully and felt that the shot was really good. There was nothing wrong with Ji Yuxiao’s smile at first glance, but if he looked carefully, he could feel the stiffness at the corners of Ji Yuxiao’s mouth.

He thought for a moment before looking at the photographer, “Take another photo.’

“Then take a few more.” Ji Yuxiao wanted to give him more options.

The photographer heard this and had to return to the place where they had just taken the photo.

Lin Luoqing looked over at Ji Yuxiao. “This time, you don’t have to smile. Just take it naturally. It won’t be stuck on the marriage certificate. I just want to take it home to see for myself.”

Once he heard this, the photographer didn’t ask Ji Yuxiao to smile again.

Ji Yuxiao was relieved and he wasn’t so tense.

The two of them looked at the camera again. Ji Yuxiao tilted his head, looking arrogant, dashing and calm. Lin Luoqing still had the same smiling expression.

The photographer took several shots in a row before showing it to them again.

Lin Luoqing took the camera, checked the preview of the new photos and saw the brilliance in Ji Yuxiao’s eyes as well as the arrogance that couldn’t be concealed.

He wasn’t smiling so he looked flamboyant and wanton, but his eyes were very gentle. It was as if there was a smile hidden inside.

“Just this one,” he said. “There is no need for any editing. We want this one and just print it out.”

Ji Yuxiao, “???”

“Didn’t you say that this was just to take home and see for ourselves?”

“I regret it.” Lin Luoqing cleaned himself up. “I like this one.”

“You are more handsome in this one,” he added.

“But I’m not smiling in this one.” Ji Yuxiao pointed to himself.

“It is still handsome.” Lin Luoqing didn’t need his fake and stiff smile. “You are originally like this. No one said that the two people on the marriage license must be smiling. I like your free and easy attitude.”

Ji Yuxiao smiled when he heard this and there seemed to be a breeze blowing in his heart. “Yes, as long as you like it.”

The photographer standing to the side saw the smile on his face and silently and helplessly thought in his heart, ‘Aren’t you smiling quite naturally now? Why are you like a fake smiling boy when taking a photo?’

Still, it was good that the clients had a photo that satisfied them. Thus, he just respectfully said, “Then I’ll have someone print it out. You can change your clothes and get ready for the family portrait.”

Lin Luoqing stood up. Ji Yuxiao wasn’t in a hurry and the photographer first left the studio with great interest.

Lin Luoqing saw that this person was gone and bent down to carry Ji Yuxiao into the wheelchair. Then he pushed him out.

Lin Fei and Ji Leyu were still watching Animal World when they heard the staff members say they could change clothes to take the photos. They put down their earphones and tablet and entered the clothing room.

The staff member patiently took them to the small suits in the back of the clothing room. Lin Fei liked black and Ji Leyu also liked black. Both of them chose a small black suit and small leather shoes. They looked handsome.

Lin Luoqing came out after changing his clothes. He saw the appearance of the two of them and exclaimed in an exaggerated manner, “Wow, where did these little princes come from?”

Lin Fei’s expression was indifferent and even endured the unbearable, exaggerated acting skills.

On the contrary, Ji Leyu laughed very cheerfully. “Uncle is also very good looking. You are like the oldest prince.”

Lin Luoqing looked at his beautiful little face, smiled and touched his head. “Xiao Yu is so good.”

Ji Leyu looked back and didn’t see Ji Yuxiao. He wondered, “What about my father?”

“He is still in the changing room. Wait a minute.”

Lin Luoqing finished speaking and looked back. Ji Yuxiao still hadn’t come out from the changing room.”

He actually wanted to help Ji Yuxiao change clothes but unfortunately, Ji Yuxiao didn’t allow it.

To this day, he still didn’t want to allow Lin Luoqing to see his lower body.

His desire to save face was really strong.

The three of them waited a bit before Ji Yuxiao finally came out of the changing room.

He wore a black suit embroidered with dragon patterns that looked very expensive. Lin Luoqing looked at the color of his suit and then at himself and the two children. He immediately laughed. “It is all black. We can directly go to shoot The Matrix.”

He went to push Ji Yuxiao as he spoke. Ji Leyu also followed and sweetly asked, “Dad, do I look good?”

“You look good,” Ji Yuxiao answered without hesitation. “Xiao Yu is the best looking.”

Ji Leyu was happy in an instant.

Lin Luoqing looked down at Lin Fei and praised, “Fei Fei also looks good.”

Ji Yuxiao heard this and quickly added, “Yes, Fei Fei also looks good.”

Lin Fei, “……”

Lin Fei felt that they were working really hard, but it wasn’t necessary. He wouldn’t be disappointed because others praised Ji Leyu but didn’t praise him.

Everyone liked cute and well-behaved children. Ji Leyu was such a child while he wasn’t.

When his mother was still here, she had told him, “Why don’t you talk, why don’t you play with other children, why don’t you call out to people?”

She added, “If you are like this, your uncle and aunts won’t like you.”

Lin Fei didn’t quite understand why he should want others to like him. He didn’t like other people so why should others like him?

Therefore, he told his mother, “They don’t have to like me.”

His mother frowned. “No, you can’t do this. You have to be more polite when you talk, understand?”

Lin Fei didn’t understand.

He didn’t feel that he was rude. If he bumped into people, then he would say ‘excuse me.’ He also thanked people when taking things. He just didn’t like to talk to others. How was this not polite?

He asked his mother this question very seriously.

However, his mother didn’t give him a good answer. She just asked him not to be so lonely and to talk to others more and play with them. This way he would be a good boy and would be liked by others.

Lin Fei felt that he couldn’t speak to her clearly, so he didn’t ask again.

He had grown from kindergarten to the first grade of primary school. He had met a lot of people such as teachers, classmates, uncles and aunts he knew or didn’t know. He naturally knew that he wasn’t liked by elders. He knew they preferred cute and sweet children like Ji Leyu.

He didn’t care. Not to mention, Ji Leyu looked better than all the children he had ever seen.

He would naturally be liked by adults, and it was very normal. Lin Fei didn’t feel that anything was wrong with it, and he didn’t feel the need to be disappointed or unhappy.

It was just that Lin Luoqing and Ji Yuxiao were obviously worried about his mood when they said this. Lin Fei could feel this so he replied very politely, “Uncle Ji, you are also good looking.”

Lin Luoqing, “???”

“Is it over? Then what about me?”

Lin Fei, “……”

Lin Fei’s eyes immediately changed into the familiar fan-shaped chart. It was 30% helplessness, 30% disgust and 40% indulging this person.

Yes, he might not care that Ji Yuxiao and Lin Luoqing praised Ji Leyu but it was obvious that his uncle was like a child.

“You look good too.” Lin Fei’s tone was full of helplessness and tolerance.

Lin Luoqing saw the helpless indulgence in the child’s eyes and didn’t feel ashamed at all. Rather, he felt proud.

Look, he had only been in this world for a few days and Lin Fei’s indulgence for him had grown from zero to 20% and then 40%. This showed that it wasn’t long until he conquered Lin Fei’s heart and had him sweetly call out ‘Uncle.’ The hope of victory was at hand!

He beckoned for Lin Fei to come over and kissed his face fiercely. Lin Fei looked up at him in shock and a familiar dislike appeared on Lin Fei’s face.

Ji Leyu tilted his head to look. He was surprised to find that this usually expressionless child obviously had a lot of expressions when with his uncle.

Then did Lin Fei not like him so Lin Fei didn’t bother to take care of him and was cold and indifferent?

However, he also didn’t seem to like his uncle very much?

He didn’t cling to Lin Luoqing at all.

Ji Leyu felt that he couldn’t understand Lin Fei even more.

How could there be such a complicated child in the world? It was strange.

Thanks for the hard work!!

Fei Fei seems to be autistic like me. He doesn’t understand why he should pretend for other people. Societal rules don’t always make sense to us lol.

Why should he pretend to be happy for people to like him? He’s already so cute!!

I hope he slowly opens up and gets attached to his new family and maybe finds his passion.
