According to reason, the mad grandmother was subdued and the girl should be relieved. Instead, she was even more afraid.

It’s finally over! I will miss Jiang Xie’s dog blood plots and seeing what else he will come up with for the long-suffering Xie Xi. However, like the author said, I will just imagine them still out there, designing and repairing worlds.

The layout (?) is kinda interesting… the ending felt kinda anticlimactic cause N just cooperated like that, it does make sense though and it’s nice that it was resolved peacefully 😀 it was quite funny seeing Xie Xi pedalling several boats multiple times xD he’s such a skilled juggler XD I also really liked that there were 6 worlds where Xie Xi could focus on only one of Jiang Xie’s souls. I’m not sure why but I’m particularly fond of the Aries one :3

I feel there are still some unsolved mysteries and untied loose ends but sweeping them under the rug and calling it ‘new beginning’ works too.

I honestly enjoyed it! I felt the ending was good. Only the part with Xie Xi’s father and N felt in the Extras felt rushed – suddenly mentioning his father again, doing Ns world in a rush (but I guess the author is showing how broken Jiang Xie has truly become now that he is a complete existence. Whether or not N is Xie Xi’s father is probably debatable. Since time is superfluous, it is possible for his father to have arrived much much earlier than Xie Xi in Central, or else he would be much too old to be able to be his father.
I have always been looking out for the player who dragged Xie Xi into that group mission but his story was probably forgotten. I really thought there would be more to him. Like at first I even suspected he was N hehe

I always wondered if the father was from the Central. But the conditions of entering Central confused me and filled me with doubts. Because an innocent child would always be curious about their missing parent when the other parent wasn’t the best person, so there was no way Xie Xi had “given up” on this person… So the father must have been a jerk and had been the one to abandon them. Everything just confused me even more. Who abandoned who first?
And then was that “I’m sorry” voice Xie Xi heard when he was pulled into the Central World. I doubted the mother was the ome apologizing since she really shouldn’t feel remorse towards someone she abandons 🤔🤔

I really enjoyed this story but I feel like the author gave themselves a big cheat with the Dream Come True game in the Open World instance. I lost half my interest in the story after that arc. I was really looking forward to how Jiang Xie was going to get closer to Xie Xi considering all that negative good-will. Also, the running ‘red rain’ joke was always amusing. But then the author just decided to bypass the entire scenario that had been building since the beginning in one fell-swoop. I was so disappointed. I feel like the author forced the characters together before they were ready.
As to who Xie Xi’s father could be… I really doubt that it would be N. It is unlikely that not only Jiang Xie but none of his circle, after hundreds of years of encounters with N would have never seen his original face. Plus it was never determined that the face he used to meet with Xie Xi in the collapsed world wasn’t his original(though the force was strong with this one). Also taking into account that after the repair of the Collapsed 12 Boundaries a new Central was created, it would be reasonable to say that the Central of Jiang Xie and Xie Xi isn’t the first one. I believe some have also forgotten that designers can’t enter their own quasi-worlds. And then to again take into account all the paradox loop-holes the author established, it’s entirely possible that Xie Xi’s father doesn’t even exist yet. However, I must concede that it does kind of feel like the author was setting up the scenario of “Luke, I am your father.”, towards the end.
Overall it was a decent read but I wouldn’t invest time into reading it a second time.
